Cancellation and Refund Policy
Students who cancel at least 48 hours before the scheduled class start date are eligible for a refund. Once a student begins the class, no refunds will be issued.
Texas requires a minimum enrollment of three students. If ACE cancels a class because the minimum enrollment requirement is not met, all affected students will receive a full refund.
Students who begin a course but do not complete all required sessions must pay the full cost of a future class to restart or complete the program.
Students who do not attend their registered class may reschedule within two weeks by paying a $50 registration fee. After the two-week period, the student must purchase a new program.
Attendance Policy
Students must attend and complete every required class session. A student may also be required to participate in an exit interview.
Testing and Retesting
Students who do not pass the final examination will be given an opportunity to retest.
Appropriate assistance may be provided to students with reading, hearing, or learning disabilities. Accommodations may include:
Reviewing the course material
Providing translation when necessary
Administering the retest verbally when necessary
Student Conduct
Students may be dismissed from or prohibited from attending class for conduct that includes:
Repeated tardiness
Appearing intoxicated
Consuming alcohol on the premises
Using illegal drugs
Engaging in rude, vulgar, or disruptive behavior
Being inattentive during instruction, including sleeping or reading materials unrelated to the course
Students dismissed for violating these conduct requirements may be readmitted at the discretion of the program administrator.
