Cancellation and Refund Policy

 

 

A refund will be made to any student who cancels 48 hours prior to the class start date. Once the student begins the class there are no refunds. A cancellation of a class due to not enough students, the State requires (3), a full refund will be given to the student(s). If you begin class and do not complete the entirety of the course, you will be required to pay in full for a future class. If you do not show for your registered class, you will be required to pay a 50.00 registration fee if it is re-scheduled within a two week period, otherwise you will have to repurchase a new program.

 

ATTENDANCE POLICY

 

Student must attend and complete all class sessions. The student may be required to attend an exit interview.

 

TESTING AND RETESTING

 

A student failing the final exam will be given the opportunity to re-test. Techniques for students with reading, hearing, or learning handicaps will be as follows: (I) review the material, (2) translate if necessary (3) retest verbally if necessary.

 

CONDUCT

 

A student may be dismissed or barred from the class for tardiness, drunkenness, or consumption of alcohol on premises, use of illegal drugs, rude, vulgar or disruptive behavior in the classroom, or generally being inattentive ie: sleeping, reading materials not contained in the course of instruction etc, during the class. Student terminated for violating the rules of conduct may be readmitted at the discretion of the program administrator.

 

DUPLICATE CERTIFICATE POLICY

 

ACE Alcohol and Chemical Dependency will provide duplicate certificates for students. Students requesting a duplicate certificates will contact the office at 832-597-0102. The fee is $50.00 and must be paid before a duplicate certificate is issued.
